SECONDARY EDUCATION
The First Step in a Successful Career
Joshua Christian Academy is here to help Des Moines urban teens reach their fullest potential through affordable Christian education.
The JCA Difference
Students will receive a biblically-integrated academic curriculum, including learning full passages of Scripture in English, Spanish, and ASL.
Our teachers are asked to sign a Statement of Faith and have a college degree. They are committed to walking side by side with each student to help them develop a personal relationship with Jesus, their classmates, and members of their community.
10:1
Student Teacher Ratio
Smaller classes enable us to tailor to the needs of each student.
Students can participate in college courses, central campus, ROTC, and national/international field trips.
Secondary Education at JCA
Secondary education at JCA is located between two campuses to best serve our students.
Middle school students (grades 6–8) attend classes at our JCA Main campus, while high school students (grades 9–12) continue their education at our JCA South campus.
All students are asked to bring their lunch each day unless provided by a group of volunteers. Lunch announcements are posted in the school lobby each week as well as the Parent Portal.
