Driving Our Mission Forward:
Help Us Keep Going!

Thank you for helping move our mission down the road—literally. God is working through His people in powerful ways, and we are seeing it daily as gifts come in to support much‑needed transportation for our students. Your generosity is making a real impact, and we are deeply encouraged.

Right now, we are 49% of the way toward our $150,000 goal, but we’re not there yet. To keep this effort moving, we need a little more fuel in the tank.

An additional bus will meet a growing need for safe, reliable transportation for our current students—whether they’re traveling between campuses, heading to off‑site learning opportunities, or supporting our athletic teams on the road. It will also open doors for new families who desire Christian education at JCA but face transportation barriers.

Will you join us in driving our mission forward and helping ensure that every student has access to Christ‑centered education?

High Schoolers Learn to Build Their Future

Home Builders Association of Greater Iowa hosted the Build My Future event at the Iowa state Fairgrounds in April. JCA Secondary students were in attendance to get hands-on learning about careers in trades. There were many local employers available to connect with young people that will be soon entering the workforce. It is our prayer that the young men and women joining the workforce from JCA will bring the light of Jesus with them wherever God takes them.

Spring Adventures at the Zoo

This spring, students from both our West and South Campuses traded their desks for an exciting day at the Blank Park Zoo, and the energy was contagious.

From the moment they stepped through the gates, the children were buzzing with anticipation. Seeing their favorite animals up close was a thrill, but the real magic happened in the hands‑on learning woven throughout the visit. Whether they were observing animal behaviors, asking thoughtful questions, or making connections to what they’ve been studying in class, the zoo became a living, breathing extension of their curriculum.

But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you; or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish in the sea inform you. Which of all these does not know that the hand of the LORD has done this? In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind Job 12:7-10

Wrapping Up the Year With Some Friendly Competition

The last week of school is always a time to celebrate a year of hard work, and this spring was no exception. As students and staff felt that familiar mix of pride and pre‑summer excitement, we channeled all that extra energy with our always‑popular annual Staff vs. Students basketball games.

Laughter, teamwork, and plenty of good‑natured rivalry filled the gym as both sides brought their best effort to the court. It was a spirited way to come together, unwind, and enjoy one last shared experience before heading into summer break.

A perfect finish to a great year.

Balancing Learning and Fun

Students at JCA South were truly on the move this May. Embracing the spirit of activity and exploration, our elementary students took a special trip off campus to a local gymnastics and tumbling center—an outing designed to help them “get the wiggles out” in the best possible way.

From balance beams to foam pits, the kids jumped, rolled, and tumbled their way through the morning, all while building confidence and coordination. And if the laughter was any indication, it was nearly impossible to tell who enjoyed it more—the students or the adults.

A joyful day of movement and memories.

Pray Without Ceasing

At JCA, we believe in the power of prayer. If you want a simple yet impactful way to get involved, we humbly ask you to join us in praying for our school.

  • Continuing praying for students to glorify God and represent JCA well in our community over the summer.
  • Pray for God’s provision in filling open teaching positions.
  • Pray for smooth transitions into the new school year for teachers and staff.
  • Continue praying for record number enrollment of 400 students beginnng 2026-2027 school year.
