Help Drive our Future with a New Bus
At our Annual Banquet, we launched an exciting new fundraising campaign: Help Drive Our Future With a New Bus. This addition will meet a growing need for safe, reliable transportation—whether it’s traveling between campuses, heading to off‑site educational experiences, or supporting our athletic teams on the road.
We’re thrilled to share that the response has already been incredible, with $31,800 raised of our $150,000 goal so far. Your generosity is moving this vision from possibility to reality.
Will you join us in driving our mission forward and helping provide accessible Christian education for every student?
2026 Annual Banquet
The JCA Annual Banquet was truly a night to remember. Our elementary students shined with a wonderful performance, while our middle school and high school students stepped up to greet guests and serve a delicious dinner. Several secondary students also shared their musical talents, and JCA senior Mia Stovall did an outstanding job hosting the event.
Our first‑ever dessert auction was a hit, and we’re hopeful it marks the beginning of a new JCA tradition. One of the most moving moments of the evening came as we honored JCA Founder Chris Hurley and witnessed her prayerfully pass the baton to our Head of Schools, Joseph Jackson. It was a powerful reminder of God’s faithfulness to our mission and community.
He is Risen Indeed!
We are inexpressibly blessed to celebrate our risen and living Savior, Jesus Christ. Each year, as the global church reflects on His death, burial, and resurrection, our students join in that celebration through heartfelt praise and worship during our Easter programs.
Every campus shared a beautiful and meaningful presentation, lifting high the name of Jesus and reminding us of the hope we have in Him.
Spring Open Houses
We were encouraged by the tremendous turnout for our Spring Open Houses. Prospective families, current families, and JCA supporters had the opportunity to witness the beautiful work God is doing in our schools. Guests participated in chapel, visited classrooms, and engaged in meaningful conversations with our school leaders—experiencing firsthand the heart and mission of JCA.
Junior/Senior Banquet at Spare Time
We held our second annual Junior/Senior Banquet on April 11th at Spare Time in West Des Moines. Our young men and women looked fantastic and represented JCA with excellence as they enjoyed an evening of dinner, bowling, and laser tag.
To top it all off, students ended the night with some fun prizes to take home — making the celebration even more memorable.
Pray Without Ceasing
At JCA, we believe in the power of prayer. If you want a simple yet impactful way to get involved, we humbly ask you to join us in praying for our school.
- Pray for a strong finish to the school year.
- Pray for our graduates as they prepare for life beyond high school
- Pray for record number enrollment – we are asking God for 400 students enrolled beginnng 2026-2027 school year.
- Pray for spiritual growth for all students and for the salvation of those who have not placed their faith in Christ alone.
