Welcome Class of 2038
Incoming Kindergarten Class
“My prayer is that I would keep in mind how important each child is to God, that I would be able to teach the academics well, but most importantly, that I would be very intentional about teaching to their hearts.”
Mrs. Wojcik, JCA Main
“My prayer is that our students want to know Jesus and that they experience the joy of talking with Him and sitting simply before Him, so that they may fall in love with Him and have a personal relationship with Him.”
Mrs. Heidt, JCA West
“My prayer for this school year is that we will become a school family accomplishing hard things because we are a team and God is always with us. ”

Family Fun at JCA
Family Back to School night
We kicked off the year by welcoming our JCA families back at our Family Fun Night! It was a joy to gather for dinner, reconnect in fellowship, and prepare for an exciting new school year. We’re thrilled to see our returning students and overjoyed to welcome so many new families into our community. God’s blessings continue to shine on JCA as we grow together in providing Christ-centered education.
Become a Student Partner
Through STO Giving
JCA is a member of Heart of Iowa School Tuition Organization (STO). Funds donated through the STO help close the gap between ESA funds and tuition costs so we can offer scholarships to our students.
You will receive a “Bottom Line” tax credit on your Iowa taxes that is equal to 75% of your gift. For example, if you give $1000 you will get $750 back on your taxes. You also receive the normal deduction from your federal income tax.
While Educational Savings Accounts (ESA) provide crucial support for many families, they don’t cover every student, especially those who enroll after the ESA deadline. Your dollars have a direct impact on the lives of students most in need.
Become a Student Partner
Through Monthly Giving
Partner Perks:
- Invites to special Partner events.
- A letter and picture from your student during the year.
- Yearly letter from your student’s teacher.

A Note from our Head of Schools
This year at Joshua Christian Academy, our theme is All In and is rooted in Colossians 3:23–24: “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.”
For our students, staff, and families, this theme is a reminder that our work, whether in the classroom, on the field, in the community, or behind the scenes, is ultimately done for the glory of God. It’s not about seeking recognition or approval from others, but about offering our very best to the One who has already given us everything in Christ. As we grow and serve together this year, my prayer is that every part of JCA will reflect this wholehearted, Christ-centered approach.
Thank you for standing with us in prayer, encouragement, and support. You are a vital part of the mission God has entrusted to our school.
Pray Without Ceasing
At JCA, we believe in the power of prayer. If you want a simple yet impactful way to get involved, we humbly ask you to join us in praying for our school.
- Praise the Lord for answered prayers as we hit record student numbers above 300 this school year
- Pray blessings over all of our new teachers and students that their transition into the JCA family is met with warm welcomes
- Please pray for our students and staff with ongoing health concerns
