Alumni Giving Back
We were thrilled to welcome back 2021 JCA graduate Alayna Davidson to JCA South as she generously provided lunch for our staff and students. She was joined by 2021 JCA graduate Serena Johnson, who now serves on staff as our Development Manager. Serena graduated December 2024 from Drake University with a degree in Law and Politics and Alayna is living out her passion to serve others as a CNA. Both young ladies are a meaningful reminder of the strong JCA community and the lasting impact of our alumni.
South Campus Expansion
We’re excited to announce the upcoming expansion of our South Campus with the addition of a full-size gymnasium. We look forward to all the ways this space will support growth, connection, and school spirit!
– The expansion will open the door to more athletic opportunities, promote physical wellness, and strengthen the sense of community for students and families.
– This new facility will accommodate sports teams, and large-scale community events with spaces designed for performances, assemblies, and special gatherings.
The 2025 Annual JCA Banquet was a huge success with almost 500 attendees. It was a night dedicated to honoring the incredible work God has done in the lives of our students and strengthening support for the generations to come. We invited guest speaker, Pastor Ikki Soma to share about the importance of instilling the love of our Lord in our youth. We were blessed with receiving a $100,000 match from any gifts to JCA from the night of the banquet to Easter Sunday. We surpassed that goal totaling record breaking donations resulting from our Annual banquet. We are so thankful for all our partners who support the mission of Joshua Christian Academy.
Beginning of a Tradition
This year, we were so excited to host our very first Junior-Senior Banquet for our upperclassmen Secondary students. It was a special evening to celebrate fellowship, growth, and God’s faithfulness throughout the school year. The night was filled with joyful memories as students and staff gathered for a formal dinner, enjoyed a spirited staff vs. student badminton tournament, and ended the evening with friendly board game competitions. It was a beautiful reminder of the Christ-centered community we are building together. As our school continues to grow, we look forward to seeing how this meaningful tradition will bless future classes for years to come.
Enriching Experiences
It’s been an exciting year for students at our West Campus! They’ve explored a wide variety of learning experiences beyond the classroom. On a trip to the Science Center, students became hands-on scientists for the day. From interactive exhibits to live demonstrations, curiosity sparked!Back on campus, students learned fire safety during one of our monthly drills. Instead of just practicing evacuation, they were greeted by the local Fire Department. They learned tips on fire prevention and safety. It was a great chance to learn from real-life heroes. With more exciting activities on the horizon, we’re proud of the growth, and curiosity happening every day at JCA West!
Joseph’s Corner
As we approach the end of another school year, I’m deeply encouraged and honored to serve at JCA. This community continues to reflect Christ in powerful ways, and I’m reminded of the words in
1 Peter 4:10: “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”
Serving here is both a calling and a joy. I’m thankful for all the ways God has moved this year, and I’m expectant for what’s ahead—more students, more families, more extracurricular opportunities, and greater impact for the Kingdom.
I’d like to introduce the “Help Drive Our Future” initiative. We’re committed to reaching the next generation of students while continuing to create meaningful, life-shaping experiences for those currently walking our halls.
I invite you to visit gotjosh.org/drive to learn more about this timely initiative and discover how you can partner with us to fuel the future of JCA.
Christ is Risen
Each spring we joyfully celebrate the death and resurrection of our savior, Jesus Christ. During this season, we reflect on His sacrifice through worship, prayer, and Scripture, remembering the love He showed by dying for our sins. Through our Easter programs we share this good news with our closest loved ones. We are so blessed here at JCA to have incredible staff and families that walk alongside our students Faith journeys.
Pray Without Ceasing
At JCA, we believe in the power of prayer. If you want a simple yet impactful way to get involved, we humbly ask you to join us in praying for our school.
- Pray for enrollment growth to 300 students this upcoming school year
- Pray that God provides the staff needed to grow
- Please pray for our students and staff with ongoing health concerns
- Pray for God’s grace as we expand our South location
