Welcome Class of 2037!
Please help us give our 41 kindergarten students a warm welcome by praying for their first year of school!
“Pray that our students would experience good health and safety as they learn and grow” – Mrs. Heidt, JCA West
“Pray that our families and students would place their faith in Jesus Christ” – Mrs. Jerrett, JCA South
“Pray that each student would gain a true sense of who God says they are – precious, strong, and chosen.” – Mrs. Wojcik, JCA Main
Recess Refresh
This summer, we started a capital campaign to build a playground for our students at JCA South-a safe place to run, jump, and climb, promoting a healthy lifestyle and improving cognitive abilities. Previously, students were playing in an empty field and using the parking lot for basketball. With God’s help, some special donors and a memorial offering for Bob Wright allowed us to build a playground as well as a basketball court.
Elementary students have been praying for this playground, so the 1st day of school brought many smiles to our students’ faces as they saw their new recess area for the first time!
Transforming Spaces at JCA Main
JCA Main staff and partners had an eventful summer taking on an office refresh and remodel project. We were able to update carpeting and ceiling tiles, paint the walls, enhance our branding, install air conditioning and much more! So far we have raised $50,000 for this project with $15,000 still needed to complete our plans, such as building a space for students to rest when sick.
Our office staff has been enjoying their new work spaces greatly and would like to thank everyone who banded together to make this a reality. We are looking forward to how this office will continue to be the next step in the vision to make JCA an affordable, quality, Christ-centered school.
Pray Without Ceasing
At JCA, we believe in the power of prayer. That is why every year we start the first day of school with a prayer circle. Students, families, and staff gather link hands and pray for the year ahead!
